Where's Kathy?

As you may have noticed, the most recent leg of the African trip has Kathy nowhere to be seen. She has returned to the USA to attend her brother's wedding and to begin pre-natal treatment. Yes, that's right: we're expecting. While this obviously brings our world trip to an early end, we're both excited at the prospects of becoming parents, and look forward to restarting our lives in the United States.

With Kathy's blessings Jim is making one last blast with Spot through the African wilderness before returning home. While it's still early, we both find that after spending every moment together for over a year that we've each become a big part of the other and this temporary parting has been difficult. We expect these few months to pass quickly before returning home to California.
